{"id":469,"date":"2020-01-28T12:17:32","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T11:17:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/massimiliano-granieri.unibs.it\/?page_id=469"},"modified":"2025-02-14T18:47:08","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T17:47:08","slug":"syrto","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/massimiliano-granieri.unibs.it\/index.php\/syrto\/","title":{"rendered":"SYRTO\u00ae"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with professors <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/robertosavonaunibs\/\">Roberto Savona<\/a> (University of Brescia) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unive.it\/data\/persone\/5590940\">Monica Billio<\/a> (University of Venice Ca&#8217; Foscari) I launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.syrto.ai\/\">SYRTO<\/a>, a spin-off company of the University of Brescia, that leverages on the results of the <a href=\"https:\/\/syrtoproject.eu\/\">FP7 EU-funded project Syrto<\/a> to bring on the market innovative software protocols and APIs for financial risk measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The business mission of SYRTO\u00ae is to combine traditional (statistics, econometrics) and advanced computational expertise (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence) with an in-depth knowledge of financial markets and connected macro and micro-economic dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SYRTO\u00ae has been awarded the status of University spin-off of the University of Brescia and qualifies as innovative start-up, pursuant to Italian Decree 18 October 2012, n. 179.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a great time for #fintech, #AI and #ML and everyone&#8217;s talking. But we do it seriously, at B2B level, with a unique combination of technical expertise and academic knowledge. Forecasting, measuring and managing financial risk is what SYRTO\u00ae allows banks, fund managers, sovreigns and professionals to achieve.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of March 2021, SYRTO\u00ae joined <a href=\"https:\/\/humaninterpretation.com\/\">Human Interpretation<\/a>, a company builider in the field of #artificialintelligence and #machinelearning. After months of intense work, also with the team of prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/web.unica.it\/unica\/it\/ateneo_s07_ss01.page?contentId=SHD30248\u00f9\">Salvatore Carta<\/a> at Universit\u00e0 di Cagliari, SYRTO\u00ae launched its product to an event in Brescia, organized with the Giornale di Brescia, in June 4.
