{"id":394,"date":"2019-08-22T15:49:32","date_gmt":"2019-08-22T13:49:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/massimiliano-granieri.unibs.it\/?p=394"},"modified":"2019-08-22T15:49:32","modified_gmt":"2019-08-22T13:49:32","slug":"upcoming-conference-on-intellectual-property-and-business-at-university-milano-bicocca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/massimiliano-granieri.unibs.it\/index.php\/2019\/08\/22\/upcoming-conference-on-intellectual-property-and-business-at-university-milano-bicocca\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming conference on Intellectual Property and Business at University Milano-Bicocca"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor Salvatore Torrisi at the Department of Economics, Management and Statistics of the University Milano-Bicocca is organizing a conference  in cooperation with the International Institute for\u00a0<strong>Intellectual Property Management (I3PM)<\/strong> in Strategic Management of Intellectual Property in Business Organizations: Value, Use and Risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will take place on November 19th, 2019 in Milan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference is sponsored by the&nbsp;<strong>European Policy for Intellectual Property Association (EPIP)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Center for European Studies (CefES)<\/strong>&nbsp;of the University of Milano-Bicocca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be two keynote presentations by Dietmar Harhoff, Max Planck Institute and LMU Munich and Gabriele Mohsler, Ericsson and three panel sessions addressing the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Managing the strategic value of IP protection,<\/li><li>Managing the risk of IP litigation, and<\/li><li>In search for IP management best practices and solutions<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prominent speakers from academia who have already confirmed are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Martin Bader, University of Ingolstadt&nbsp;<\/li><li>Stuart Graham, Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta<\/li><li>Massimiliano Granieri, University of Brescia<\/li><li>Georg von Graevenitz, School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London<\/li><li>Elena Novelli, Cass Business School, City University of London<\/li><li>Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prominent speakers from industry who have already confirmed are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rene Allart, Philips<\/li><li>Alexandra Cordes, SAP SE<\/li><li>Claire F.
